The treatment offered at Sight of Hand is no right for everyone.  The focus is change in any aspects of the person’s life – change that leads them to find their individual health.

If you are looking for simple quick fixes for your pain, restricted movement, metabolic diseases, chronic disease, etc., then this treatment is likely not right for you and we can help you with referrals to a practice that might better serve you.

If you are looking for a journey into deeper understanding of yourself, your body, and what it means to be human (in addition to wanting to be pain free, or some resolution to chronic disease states) then we have something to offer.

What is the treatment like?2016-12-10T17:46:25-07:00

The treatment is generally very gentle.  It lasts for 30 minutes with some time afterwards to reintegrate.  You lie on a treatment table similar to a massage table.  The physician is usually located at your head and does most of the work from this position.  Ocassionally more direct work is required and the physician may move to that specific area.  During the treatment you may experience any miriad of things including, relaxation, visualisations, emotions, and various other somatic experiences in your body.  Many people fall asleep during part or all of the treatment.  Any and all experiences you have are welcome and discussion is encouraged at any time during the appointment. This type of Osteopathic treatment is safe for people with almost any health condition but please check with the physician before beginning.
